Long is a lecturer at School of Communication & Design, RMIT University, Vietnam. He is charge of several Work-Intergrated-Learning courses within Public Relations Further, he works as an invited lecturer for Master of Hospitality Management, HUTECH University, and Master of Business Administration, FPT Business School, International School of Business - University of Economics, HCMC.
Regarding educational background, Long finished his PhD in Marketing at The University of Adelaide, Australia with Dean's Commendation for Doctoral thesis excellence. Long also achieved Master in Business Research at The University of Adelaide, Australia in 2011 and Master of Business Administration at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan in 2004. All were under the University scholarship offers.
Prior to joining RMIT University Vietnam, Long has seven years lecturing and coaching experience at several educational firms including Business School, The University of Adelaide (Australia), Kent International College (Vietnam), Topica E-learning program (Vietnam), and Ascott Center for Excellence (Singapore).
Regarding industrial background, Long spent 10 years in sales & marketing and held a range of senior management roles in several hospitality organisations including The Ascott Limited, Singapore (member of Capitaland), Rex Hotel, Majestic hotel, Vietnam (member of Saigontourist), where he focused on managing sustainable sales & marketing activities
